The Complete Pakistan Experience



Day One
You will arrive at London Heathrow Airport, to board your over-night flight to Islamabad.

Day Two
My team and I will meet you in the VIP lounge in Islamabad Airport.Our coach will take us to our hotel, where you will be able to relax and rest after the journey. We will meet you again for lunch and a short briefing on Pakistan and our Tour.

We will then explore Islamabad and the local bazaars, later having dinner in one of Islamabad’s many restaurants.

Day Three
After breakfast we will leave for Taxila , a 40-minute colourful drive from Islamabad. Taxila is an ancient archaeological site; a guide will guide us through the museum and then visit the extensive ruins. After a packed lunch we will return to Islamabad for dinner in a hill top setting.

Day Four
We depart for Lahore, the heart of Pakistan’s culture, traveling down Pakistan’s one and only motorway. Stopping en route to tour Khewra Salt mines which are the oldest salt mines in the sub-continent. After lunch we continue to Lahore and explore the bazaars. Evening at rest in our hotel.

Day Five
We will visit the famous Badshahi Mosque and the Lahore Fort in Lahore. Once inside the Fort you can visit many rooms, including the Palace of Mirrors. After lunch we will take a short tour of Lahore. In the evening we will dine in the famous Village restaurant or even meander down one of Lahore's most famous streets Food Street renowned for its culinary delights and nightlife.

Day Six
This morning we will stroll through the Shalimar Gardens , which were built by the Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan in 1642. The gardens are today used as a popular venue for young people. Then on to lunch at the Lahore Polo Club restaurant and, if lucky, a Polo tournament will be in progress. We will then depart for Wagah Border. The Wagah Border is a ceremonial border where we will watch the guards perform a ceremony called ‘lowering of the flags’. This is a truly amazing experience. Evening in our hotel.

Day Seven
We will visit Lahore Museum, which houses a rich and varied collection of historical objects. The Lahore museum offers a cultural and historical experience not to be missed. After lunch, the afternoon will be at rest. In the evening we will dine at Cooco’s Den, which offers one of the most enchanting restaurant views in the world. The view of the Grand Badshahi Mosque lit up in lights if one of the highlights of our tour.

Day Eight
After an early start, we will visit the Remount Breeding Centre, which is the headquarters for breeding horses and mules for use in the mountains by the Pakistani Army. We will be escorted in horse-drawn carriages – we will go back in time to days gone by. We will then continue our journey back to Islamabad

Day Nine
After a leisurely start to our day, we will depart for Rohtas Fort with a packed lunch in a historical setting. Returning to Islamabad via the Grand Trunk road for a relaxed evening in Islamabad.

Day Ten
Today we leave for Murree , Pakistan’s favourite hill station, 50 Kilometers northwest of Islamabad. Murree is famous for its cooler climate, lush green scenery and alpine forests. This evening we will stay in the 5 star luxury Pearl Continental Hotel with views reaching out into Kashmir.

Day Eleven
After breakfast, we board our luxury coach and depart for Nathiagali clad in Pine, Walnut and Oak trees. For those of us that feel slightly adventurous we will take a horse trek to the top of Mukshpuri. No riding experience is necessary, as a groom will individually guide us. We will carry lunch on our mounts to the wonderful view at 2800 meters.

Day Twelve
A hearty breakfast and then we drive onto the Kaghan Valley , which has a reputation as one of the most beautiful places in Asia – the natural beauty is outstanding. Evening in a wonderful lodge on the banks of a thundering river.

Day Thirteen
This morning we awake in an unspoiled paradise, as many visitors before us. We then travel in Jeeps through glaciers to Saiful Muluk Lake (10,500ft). Returning to the hotel in Naran for the evening. For those that enjoy fly- fishing - we will organise this by prior arrangement – if lucky barbequing our catch for supper.

Day Fourteen
A leisurely start to our day, visiting, rivers, glaciers mountain ranges and enjoying the restful ambiance of this most stunning location. Evening along the riverside in our lodge.

Day Fifteen
After an early breakfast, we will leave this mountain paradise and return to Islamabad for last minute shopping, sightseeing and our last meal together.

Day Sixteen
Depart Islamabad Airport for London Heathrow
